Course: Certificate Programme in Energy Security

Duration: 20 hours

Description: The aim of the certificate program is to examine the theoretical and current issues related to energy security within the context of new geopolitical developments in international arena. Geopolitics of natural resources and strategic domination will be discussed within the scope of the program together with the basics of security of supply and demand. Participants will understand the relative importance of the Middle East, the Eurasian energy scene (the US, EU, Russia, the Middle East, the Caspian Basin, China and Turkey), examine Asian policies pursued over the West energy corridor. Practical exercises will supplement the study of theoretical framework.

Certification: A “Certificate of Participation” will be issued following completion.
