Course: Certificate Programme in Cross-cultural Communication

Duration: 12 Hours

Description:  The course will explore how cultural differences can impact on group effectiveness, marketing negotiations, marketing communication, and personal presentation and impression. The students will use the students' own cultural background as the basis for contrastive analysis across all forms of communication, including verbal, non-verbal, written and professional. We will explore concepts of societal and managerial culture, and the underlying attitudes, values and behaviors of different cultures. Participants will be exposed to recent research on the impact of cultural differences in management and communication in order to obtain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the nature of communication and the cross-cultural issues in different forms of communication - verbal, non-verbal and professional. The course will especially benefit those who work in cross-cultural team with different culture, behavior and perspectives.

Certification: A “Certificate of Participation” will be issued following completion.
